Calling all competitive body builders– or even just those looking for an insanely dark tan. Undressed Tans The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse is a product you need to have on your radar.

I was completely blown away at just how dark of a tan I achieved with this product. There was a part of me that felt a little ridiculous because of how dark I got, but after a day or two, I learned to rock it.

Aside from the incredible results, this tanning mousse is also easy to apply and can be purchased at an affordable price.

However, it does take a long time to dry down, leaving you with sticky-feeling skin for an uncomfortable length of time, and it smells like nail polish remover.

The results are worth it if you’re looking for an ultra dark tan, but The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse should only be used by serious and experienced tanners.

Look and Feel

The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse is a dark brown tanning mousse. It has the average consistency of other tanning mousses on the market.

When applied to my skin, it felt very moisturizing and overall easy to apply. However, it does leave behind an overwhelming tacky residue for nearly an hour post-application.

About 5-10 minutes post-application, some of the color guard goes away so you don’t look quick as ridiculous as you do when the product is first applied. However, it does still give you a very tan look once absorbed.

Application

The application for The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse is mostly easy when it comes to the actual act of applying it, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy-to-use product either.

For the application part of it, I used a tanning mitt and found that I needed a few pumps to cover larger body areas. The mousse applied very smoothly, and I was able to easily go over missed areas without fear of the product streaking.

Once the tanning mousse was applied, however, I had to wait an insanely long time before getting dressed because of the tacky residue left behind, so that made application more difficult.

Drying Time

The dry time for The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse is brutal. For nearly an hour post-application, my skin felt so sticky. I didn’t even want to risk getting dressed before then, so make sure you have plenty of time to spare before using this tanning product.

This aspect of the tanning mousse is definitely a mark against the product in my book.

Smell (Before Application)

Unfortunately, The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse smells like nail polish remover when you first apply it.

Thankfully the scent itself isn’t very strong, but what you can smell definitely doesn’t smell good.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

After about 5-10 minutes, the horrible nail polish remover odor goes away. And about 30 minutes after that, a slight self-tanner smell emerges.

As was the case with the initial scent, the tanner smell wasn’t very strong, and went away altogether after about an hour.

Color Produced

I used The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse around 3 PM, and it says to not rinse it off for at least 8 hours. I decided to just leave it on overnight and shower in the morning.

I nearly gasped when I saw my skin in the morning. HOLY SMOKES— this product gave me the darkest tan I’ve yet to achieve with any self-tanning product.

A little bit off the color did go away once I showered, but I was still blown away at the color produced. There weren’t any orange undertones—it was just straight dark, bronzed skin.

It took me a day or so to get used to the dark tan, but there’s no denying that the product gives you the dark tan it promises.

How Long It Lasts

I found that the tan I achieved with The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse lasted a long time—4-5 days. That could be because it was so dark to begin with, but I was overall impressed with how long the color lasted.

Once the tan started to fade, it did so without any streaking, so that’s a bonus, too!

The Nudist Dark Tanning Mousse is fairly priced. Not only is it an affordable product for the amount of product you get, but it also undeniably delivers the results it promises.

I think this product is best suited for experienced tanners, however, so it may have more of a niche market than other tanning mousses.
