Overall Opinion:

I really like Tanwise Dark Bronzing Sunless Mousse, so I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

I loved the tan I got with this mousse, it was even, dark and natural looking.

The application is pretty easy compared to some mousses, but it’s crucial to use a tanning mitt.

It smells really good and girly when you’re applying it, but the next morning I smelled a little DHA.

It also came off a little on my sheets, which sucked, but it’s to be expected when the product has a dark guide.

The one thing I really didn’t like it how this one faded.  It became splotchy and unnatural looking after about 3 days, so I wish it would’ve lasted another 2 days or so.

Overall, this is a really good mousse and definitely better than your average self tanner.

Look and Feel

Tanwise Dark Bronzing Sunless Mousse is a dark brown mousse.  The mousse comes out very smooth and even and has an airy texture.

The guide is VERY dark brown.

Application

Application was pretty easy as far as mousses go.

The mousse has a nice texture, it not too watery and runny like some mousses are.

It has a dark guide in it, but it wasn’t messy to apply at all (as long as you use a tanning mitt).

The dark guide helps you avoid streaking, as you can see where you’re applying it.

It also is very easy to blend in and doesn’t dry as soon as it touches the skin, so it makes it easy to blend the guide into your skin.

Drying Time

The drying time for this mousse was really good.

I felt dry after about 15 minutes and I didn’t feel sticky or wet.

I felt ok putting clothing on after the 15 minutes was up.

Keep in mind, you still have to be careful as the dark guide can stain your clothes and sheets.

Smell (Before Application)

Tanwise Dark Bronzing Sunless Mousse smells delicious!

I can’t put my finger on the exact smell, but I like it.

It has “fragrance” in it, which is something I don’t really like, but at least it smells good and covers the DHA.

It smells sweet and a fruity.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

The next day I could smell some DHA unfortunately, I wish the yummy scent had stuck around!

Color Produced

Immediately after I applied the product, I looked dark and bronze (due to the color guide).

The color darkened over the next few hours, and I woke up looking very dark and tan.

After I washed the guide off I was left with a dark tan, but it wasn’t as dark as what I woke up with.

I was very happy with the color it produced; it was very natural and tan (not orange at all).

My tan was smooth and even, and overall I was about 4-5 shades darker.

How Long It Lasts

This one fell a little short in this area.

My tan lasted only about 3 days before becoming a light-medium tan and fading away.

It also became pretty splotchy and unnatural looking as it faded.

OK For Men?

Yes, I think men will like the results they get from this mousse.
