Overall Opinion:

If we’re being honest, there’s something exciting about a brand partnering with a well-known celebrity to create a product available to the masses, and that’s exactly what’s been done with St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow.

Upon initial use of the product, it seems like a tanning mousse to get excited about. It smells really good, dries in seconds, and even comes in cute packaging.

Despite all that, however, the results are a total flop. After wearing the product for 24 hours before rinsing, I expected to see a dark, beautiful glow. Instead, I was left with my complexion looking exactly the same as before.

The hefty price tag simply isn’t justified because of a celebrity name tacked on to the product. The results speak for themselves, and this is definitely a tanner to pass on.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow has a light brown color guard to it, and is a very thick tanning foam. It almost looks like chocolate mousse when you dispense it into your tanning mitt!

Although the product itself feels very heavy and thick when applied, that feeling goes away almost instantly, making it a very comfortable self tanner to wear.

The color guard also dissipates after 30 minutes or so post-application, so this is a tanner that easily allows you to use and leave the house without anyone knowing what you’ve just done!

Application

I used a tanning mitt to apply St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow, and found very quickly that a little product goes a long way with this foam.

Overall, it was simple to apply. The color guard, though light, allowed me to see where I was applying the product, and when I missed a spot, it was easy to go back over the area without lifting up any product already there.

This product definitely feels thick when rubbing it in, but once it absorbs, it’s extremely comfortable to wear and doesn’t leave behind any sticky residue.

Drying Time

I didn’t quite believe it when the packaging said ‘touch-dry in seconds,’ but after using this self-tanner, I can totally attest to that being true!

In less than a minute post-application, my skin was completely dry and void of any stickiness. I was able to get dressed immediately.

I absolutely love this aspect of St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow, especially since it’s not normally the case with tanning foams.

Smell (Before Application)

St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow has a really nice scent to it when first applied! I can’t quite place my finger on what it smells like, but it’s definitely floral in nature.

I’m always happy if the product doesn’t smell like a self-tanner, but this was a nice surprise to actually enjoy the scent of the product!

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

The initial floral scent went away once the tanner had absorbed into my skin, so that was a bit of a bummer!

About an hour or so later, a slight self-tanner odor emerged. It wasn’t overpowering by any means, but there’s no denying its presence either.

Color Produced

I’m super disappointed at the tan, or lack thereof, I achieved with St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow.

The product said you could rinse it off as early as one hour post-application, or simply leave it on until your next shower. I chose to leave the product on for an entire 24-hour period.

My skin looks the exact same as it did before using this product, so I genuinely didn’t achieve any color change with this tanning mousse.

How Long It Lasts

I barely saw any change to my skin tone after using St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow. If there was any darkening at all, it was gone after my first shower post-tan.

For that reason, I’d have to say this tan doesn’t last for a single day.

OK For Men?

No, but only because I wouldn’t recommend this product to any gender.

Price

St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow is marketed as a tanning kit, but really, all you’re getting is the product and a mitt wrapped in a fancy box. And realistically, most of us already own a tanning mitt we like.

This product is really expensive—considerably more than most other self-tanning foams on the market.

Just because the brand has partnered with a celebrity doesn’t mean the product or price tag is worth it, and in this case, it’s definitely not. The lack of results speaks for themselves, far louder than a celebrity endorsement could.
