Top 10 Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Dihydroxyacetone, Propylene Glycol, C12-C15 Alkyl Benzoate, Cetyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 40, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Camellia Sinensis (Green And White Tea) Leaf Extract, Lycium Barbarum (Goji Berry) Fruit Extract
Overall Opinion:
Overall I gave June Jacobs Radiant Glow Self Tanning Lotion 2 out of 5 stars.
So I obviously wasn’t too impressed with this self tanner.
For starters, $10 an ounce is very expensive.
The tan I got was a light to medium shade and it was very uneven.
I had areas all over my body that were darker than others.
The smell is awful, it smells so strongly of DHA, I had to hold my breath while applying it.
The one plus was that it was super easy to apply and didn’t make a mess.
Detailed Opinion:
Look and Feel
June Jacobs Radiant Glow Self Tanning Lotion comes out as a a white, creamy lotion.
There’s no brown guide, the product resembles a body moisturizer.
The texture of the lotion is very smooth and slick.
Application
This one is pretty easy to apply. There isn’t any mess as it goes on like any lotion would.
The nice thing is you don’t have to worry about a dark guide staining anything.
I’d suggest using gloves even though there isn’t a guide because it stained in between my fingers.
Drying Time
June Jacobs Radiant Glow Self Tanning Lotion took about 30-35 minutes to completely dry.
I would’ve liked to see it dry a little quicker.
I felt pretty sticky until it was dry.
Smell (Before Application)
The smell of this one is REALLY bad.
It smells so strongly of DHA and self tanner smell.
This is how a lot of self tanners used to smell before they started adding scent to cover up the DHA.
I couldn’t stand the smell, it reeked.
Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)
I could still smell the self tanner smell the next morning, but thankfully it had faded a bit.
I couldn’t wait to shower the smell off my body!
Color Produced
This self tanner produced a light to medium tan.
My tan was pretty splotchy, I had one huge dark spot on the back of my legs!
Needless to say, I wasn’t a fan of the color it produced.
The color was way too light for my liking and it was splotchy to the point I was embarrassed to show my legs.
How Long It Lasts
This one lasted about 2-3 days before it faded.
As it faded it became so streaky, I had to work to scrub the product off because it looked so bad.
OK For Men?
No, June Jacobs Radiant Glow Self Tanning Lotion is way too expensive for what you get.
I also don’t think men will like the color, it’s too light and uneven.
Price
This self tanner sells for $38.00 for a 3.8 Oz bottle.
That’s $10 an ounce, very expensive!!
