Overall Opinion:

Overall, I gave Fake Bake Flawless Darker 4.2 out of 5 stars, so it’s a good product.

I really loved the scent, the color it produced and how quickly it dried.

I didn’t like how messy the application is, but at least it pays off and your final result is a nice looking tan.

You’ll have to reapply this one twice a week as it started to fade on day 4.

The color is a sun-kissed medium to dark shade tan.

It’s very natural looking and isn’t orange at all.

This one is almost exactly like the original Fake Bake Flawless, but it’s just darker.

So if you loved that product, but wanted a darker tan, you’ll definitely want to try out this one.

Look and Feel

Fake Bake Flawless Darker comes out as a spray, with a very dark guide.

It’s a pump spray, not an aerosol, so it’s a little more work.

Application

This one you have to be VERY careful while applying.

Both a tanning mitt and a latex glove come with this product, so that’s how I knew this one could get messy.

This one has a very dark guide, and if it gets anywhere besides your skin, it will stain it.

So I’d definitely recommend applying this one in your shower.

The directions state to spray the product on to the tanning mitt and then apply to your mitt.

I followed these instructions, and application was easy, however a little product still ended up on my floor.

Drying Time

This one dried pretty fast, it took about 15 minutes to dry completely.

I think it helps that your not spraying the product directly to your skin.  You spray on to the mitt and then rub it into your skin.

Don’t touch anything while you’re waiting for this to dry, it will stain!

Smell (Before Application)

Fake Bake Flawless Darker smells really good, it smells almost exactly like the original Fake Bake Flawless.

It’s very tropical, and a bit fruity smelling…yum!

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

When I woke up I could still smell a hint of fragrance which was nice.

I didn’t smell much DHA when using this product, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Color Produced

Fake Bake Flawless Darker produces amazing color!

It’s exactly like Fake Bake Flawless…but yes, darker.

The color is a very smooth, even, medium to dark shade.

The directions say you can apply daily until you reach your desired shade.

I applied it two days in a row and was very happy with the results.

I actually liked the color after applying it one night (it was a medium shade), but I wanted to test it out to see how dark it’d get.

After two nights in a row of applying this, I had a beautiful medium-dark shade glow.

I especially loved the way it made my legs look, like I just got back from a pool day!

How Long It Lasts

This one lasted about 4-6 days, which I was happy about!

Around day 4 it started to get a little splotchy, so you’ll probably have to reapply this one twice a week to maintain a nice tan.

OK For Men?

Yes, I think men will like this one.

If you’re looking for a medium to dark shade tan, this one gives great color and smells nice to boot.

Application can get extremely messy though, so be careful!
