Overall Opinion:

Overall, I gave Decleor Aroma Sun Expert Self Tanning Milk 3.25 out of 5 stars.  So it was better than your average self tanner on the market.

I really liked the natural, medium shade it produced.  It was also very easy to apply and dried quickly.

The downsides are the floral old lady scent and the super expensive price tag.

So those are a few things to keep in mind when considering this self tanner.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

Decleor Aroma Sun Expert is a thick, white lotion.  It’s almost cream in color, and has no guide.

The product itself is a nice texture, and feels creamy and soft.

Application

Application of this self tanner was very easy and non messy.

You can use a tanning mitt if you’d like to, but I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary.

This one blended in really easily and didn’t turn white once you applied it to your skin like a lot of self tanners do.

Drying Time

Drying time for this lotion was excellent.

It dried very fast, in only 5- 10 minutes.  And once it dried, my skin felt silky smooth.

Smell (Before Application)

This one has a light floral smell.  It doesn’t smell horrible, but it definitely wasn’t my favorite scent.

It reminded me a little of old lady perfume.  I couldn’t smell any DHA thought.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

The good news is the smell faded away by the next morning, and I could only smell a small hint of floral.

I smelled a teeny tiny bit of DHA the next morning as well.

Color Produced

I was pretty pleased with the color this one produced.

The directions say to apply 2-3 times a week to maintain your tan.  After one application, I had a beautiful shade medium tan.

The color was smooth and very natural looking.  I wouldn’t say it was super dark, but it was just very natural looking.

For those of you looking for a medium tan, this one produces a great color.

How Long It Lasts

My tan lasted 3-4 days and then it was completely gone.

So like the directions say, you’ll need to apply this one 2-3 times per week to maintain your tan.

OK For Men?

Maybe.  The smell is aimed towards women, so I don’t think men will like it.

But the color is nice and the you can’t beat the drying time.

Price

One bottle is $38, and it works out to $9.05 per ounce.  That’s pretty expensive, so you’ll have to have a deep wallet to try this one!
