Overall Opinion:

Overall, I gave this product 2 out of 5 stars, so the Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes definitely fell flat in some areas.

The good things about this product are easy application due to the towelettes, it’s light refreshing scent and the fact that it dries very quickly.

I didn’t like the color this product produces, it was so light.

I had to apply 3 days in a row to see any color at all.  Even then, my tan was extremely light.

The light tan I did have looked natural and even.

Also, I didn’t like how often you have to reapply these in order to see any color at all.

An 8-pack only lasts about 2 or 3 applications due to how many towelettes it takes to cover your whole body.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

The Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes look and feel a lot like a wet wipe or a makeup removing wipe.

There is no guide with this product, and the towels are damp, but not extremely wet.

Application

Application with these towelettes is a breeze.

You don’t have to worry about the product getting all over your bathroom (or wherever you apply it).

The towelettes make it very easy to blend into your skin, and to get the harder to reach areas.

The thing I didn’t like about the application is that you have to use the towelettes at least 2-3 days in a row to see any color at all, very inconvenient.

I had to use 3-4 of the towels to cover my entire body, so the whole pack will only last you 2, maybe 3 applications.

The towelettes come pre-moistened with the product, so you basically just have to rub the towel over your body in the places you want tan.

Drying Time

Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes dry extremely fast, which is nice!

These are different than most products in that there’s no lotion or liquid you have to wait to dry.

The small towelette is already soaked in the product, so there’s not a big amount of it being applied to your skin.

Overall, it dried in about 5 minutes.

Smell (Before Application)

Earlier I compared the Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes to a wet wipe, and that’s exactly what it smells like.

There is no DHA scent, the product smells clean and fresh, but not of perfume.

I didn’t mind the smell, but I wasn’t in love with it either.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

Since the smell of this product is so light, I didn’t smell anything at all the next day.

There was no residual DHA smell, which I was happy about!

Color Produced

The color produced by this product is extremely light.

After my first application I didn’t see any color produced at all.

After I applied the product 2 more times I saw a light tan, but it still wasn’t very dark.

I wished it would’ve gotten darker, but after just 3 applications I had used all the towelettes.

For what it’s worth, the light tan that I did have was even and natural looking.

How Long It Lasts

My tan lasted one day, maybe two because the color was SO light.

It seems like you have to reapply this product every day or two to keep a decent tan.

OK For Men?

I don’t think this will be a great product for men.

Since men are generally bigger they will have to use more towelettes, and they will only get 2 applications out of an 8-pack of towelettes.

I also don’t think men will like the color, because it’s so light.

They won’t like reapplying every other day to maintain their tan.

The Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes are $13.99 for 8 towels.

That works out to $1.75 per towel.  You will have to use 3-4 towels each time you tan, so that’s about $5-7 for each time you apply this self tanner.
