Overall Opinion:

After tanning with B.Tan Tanned AF Mousse, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, so this is definitely one I enjoyed using!

The application process is extremely easy, and leads to a dark, natural-looking tan.  After about 3-4 days, the tan fades without any weird streaking or splotchy areas.

While it does have a less-than-ideal self-tanner odor to it, and feels pretty sticky for an hour post-application, those are small inconveniences compared to the gorgeous tan you achieve.

Since this self tan mousse is an affordable product with awesome results, I would recommend this for anyone searching for a self-tanner!

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

B.Tan Tanned AF Mousse has a brownish-green color to the mousse, so there’s a color guard to it.  My skin looked that same color when I applied the tanner too, so this isn’t one you can wear out before rinsing off.

This self-tanner was very comfortable to apply and felt really moisturizing.  However, it left behind a tacky residue for almost an hour post-application.

Application

I think this B.Tan mousse is extremely easy to apply.  I used a tanning mitt, and found that the tanner applied evenly over my entire body when I rubbed it in.  I also didn’t have any issues with streaking.

This was probably one of the fastest times I’ve had using a self-tanner because of how effortless it was.

For my skin, I felt pretty tacky for about 45-60 minutes post-application, so the tricky part is that you can’t really get dressed at all until you’re ready to rinse it off, or for a full hour—whichever comes first.

This is pretty common with many tanners, however, so it wasn’t too big of a deal for me.

Drying Time

B.Tan Tanned AF Mousse takes about 45-60 minutes to dry, so this isn’t a tanner you can put on clothes shortly after you apply it.

Smell (Before Application)

I read a bunch of reviews that said B.Tan Tanned AF Mousse didn’t stink, but I have to disagree.  This smelled like a self-tanner to me.

Something I weirdly appreciated about this product is that they didn’t try to mask the smell.  Sometimes it’s even worse when it’s trying to smell like a sugar cookie and it totally doesn’t.

I didn’t find the smell to be super strong, but it smelled like an old-school self-tanner to me.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

The odor got stronger the longer I wore it, which was kind of gross.

However, once you rinse off the product, the smell goes away completely, so it is temporary.

Color Produced

I’m very impressed at the tan I achieved with this tanning mousse.  To start, I only left the tanner on for 90 minutes, and I saw a significant difference in just that time.  I can’t even imagine how much darker I would’ve gotten if I left it on for 4 hours!

The tan is also very natural.  On the week I used this one, I had been in the sun a lot, so my upper body was already dark. I’m now darker on my lower body after using B.Tan Tanned AF Mousse, but the color almost matches exactly.

I think this is a very natural-looking tan, even if you do get really dark, because there aren’t any orange undertones or anything like that.

How Long It Lasts

The tan I achieved with B.Tan Tanned AF Mousse lasted for about 3-4 days.

It also faded very nicely, so I never ended up looking splotchy in any areas.

Yes!  It’s super easy to use, and produces an awesome tan.

I’m really surprised at how affordable B.Tan Tanned AF Mousse is.  Not only is it a product that most people can afford, but it’s also worth every penny and more!

Based on the results you achieve with this self-tanner and how long the tan lasts, I think this product is worth the money.
