Overall Opinion:

This self tanner really let me down; there’s really not much I like about it.

For starters, it stained my sheets…strike 1.

Then, it never dried.  So I was left feeling sticky and uncomfortable the whole night!  I think this is why it stained my sheets too, it never absorbed into my skin. Strike 2.

Lastly, I was left with virtually no tan once I showered the guide off the next morning.  Talk about a let down.  After all that hassle, I was at least hoping for a nice tan!  But nope…. strike 3.

I guess they say 3 strikes and you are out, so I’m sorry to say 2Bronze + Keratin is a sunless lotion I really don’t care for and wouldn’t use again.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

This self tanner is a very thick cream that looks like melted fudge.  It has a very dark brown guide; you can’t miss it when applying.

Application

This one can get messy, let me tell ya.

I used a mitt to apply it, and I recommend you do too.

This one ended up staining my bed sheets because it never fully soaked into my skin.  I’m not happy about that!

The guide itself isn’t that hard to blend in, but don’t be alarmed when your skin looks super streaky and dirty right after application.

I used up a good amount of product with just one application, so I don’t think a bottle will give you many applications.

Drying Time

My skin felt SO sticky after I applied 2Bronze + Keratin Sunless Tanner.  It never fully dried.  When I woke up the next morning, my skin still felt sticky.

Like I mentioned above, the product kind of just settled on my skin, without fully soaking in.

This was definitely one of the stickiest self tanners I’ve ever tried, and that’s one of my pet peeves.

I hate feeling tacky and uncomfortable while I sleep.

Smell (Before Application)

The scent of this lotion isn’t bad, it’s kind of refreshing, but it also kind of resembles a household cleaner.

As far as small goes, I’d say it’s middle of the road.  At least I didn’t smell any DHA right after applying it.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

The next morning, I smelled pretty bad.

I smelled like DHA mixed with Pine Sol or something.

It was a light scent, but I still couldn’t stand it.

Color Produced

I woke up looking pretty dark, until I washed the guide off.

Once I washed the color guide off, I was left with SUCH a light tan.  It didn’t look like I had used a self tanner at all.

I was maybe one shade darker, and my tan didn’t even look good.  It was kind of scaly and weird looking.

This color payoff isn’t worth the hassle of this one staining sheets and never drying.

How Long It Lasts

My tan lasted about 2 days and then it was gone.

I was actually glad once this one faded away because then I could apply a different self tanner that actually works.

OK For Men?

No.  It’s cheap, but there are better products out there for your money.
