Overall Opinion:

I really loved this self tanner!

Once I got over the shock of spending over $60+ on a beauty product I was extremely excited to try it (needless to say I had VERY high expectations!).

The application is very easy and not messy at all, and it has no guide.

This product is unique in that there’s virtually no smell, and that includes no DHA or awful perfumes. The color produced is a very even, medium shade.

I wish it was a little darker, but if you are looking for a natural-looking color, this one is a winner.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

Vita Liberata comes out as a slick, white gel.  There is not guide and the product is extremely thin and smooth.

Application

This gel was extremely easy to apply.

There is no guide so you don’t have to worry about it getting all over the place.  It’s very smooth and blends into the skin within seconds.

I used gloves while applying, and there was little-to-no clean up.

Drying Time

The drying time was very quick, it dried within 20 minutes.  However, it felt a little sticky for about an hour after I applied it.

It didn’t feel “wet” on my skin, I could only feel the stickiness when my legs or arms touched each other.

Smell (before application)

The unique thing about Vita Liberata Untinted Self Tan Gel is there’s absolutely no smell.

I didn’t expect to like the “smell” of an unscented product, but it was nice not having to smell any DHA or bad perfumes.

Smell (after several hours and the next day)

Even after I showered the product off, there was no smell, including that nasty DHA smell.

Color Produced

The color produced was a very smooth, medium shade.  I wish it was a little bit darker, especially since this is their “deeper dark” shade.

This tan is one of the most even and natural looking ones I have seen, there were no streaks and no orange tint at all.

How Long It Lasts

Vita Liberata lasted about 4-5 days.  It didn’t get splotchy or streaky while fading, it faded like a natural tan.

OK For Men? 

I think this product would be great for men.

The application is a breeze and there’s no guide or girly smell.  The only drawback is your wallet will be a lot lighter after purchasing Vita Liberata!

Price

$37.50 for a 6.76 ounce bottle is expensive.  Especially since I had to pay $18.00 for shipping to the USA on top of that!  (Although you can usually now find this on Amazon or Beauty.com and avoid the excessive shipping charges)
