Overall Opinion:

This tanner was slightly better than average, and gave it 3 out of 5 stars.

I would’ve ranked it higher if the product wasn’t so streaky :(

That was the worst part about Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse Dark, it gave me the worst streaks I’ve ever had.

The tan I got was dark, but it just wasn’t even at all.

The smell isn’t bad and the drying time is decent too.

Application can get messy if you’re not careful.

The total price of this one was almost $50 including shipping to the U.S…..that’s way too expensive!

They’re based in Australia, so unfortunately the only way to get it in the U.S. is to pay big bucks to ship it here.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse comes out as a dark foam.

The mousse is a little more watery than most fluffy ones.

The guide is very dark, be careful!

Application

Application can get super messy with this one.

Make sure you wear a tanning mitt or glove, as the guide will definitely stain your palms.

The one takes a few seconds to blend the dark guide into your skin.

The mousse seems to be a little thinner than most, so make sure it doesn’t drip on anything.

I was surprised how dark the guide looked once it was on my skin….it’s very dark.

Drying Time

This mousse dried in about 20 minutes.

It actually took a little longer than most mousses to dry, as this one is thinner than most (so it’s a bit more watery).

I’d give it a good 20 minutes before putting your clothes back on, just to make sure it doesn’t stain them!

Smell (Before Application)

Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse smells pretty good.

It has a light fragrant smell, I can’t put my finger on exactly what it smells like.

I couldn’t smell any DHA when I applied it which was good.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

The next morning I smelled a little bit of DHA, but nothing too bad.

The DHA smell went away as soon as I washed the product off.

Color Produced

I tried Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse in the dark shade.  And let me tell ya, the color it produced was dark.

I really loved the dark shade of tan it gave me, it was very deep.

BUT…it was SO streaky!

I had areas all over my legs that were streaky, it looked pretty bad.

They actually have an “Ultra Dark” shade as well, I can’t even imagine how dark that one will get you.

The color would’ve been perfect if it wasn’t for the major streaks all over my body.

How Long It Lasts

This mousse lasts about 4-5 days before it starts to fade away.

I think it lasts so long because the color is pretty dark.

I got scaly as it faded away though, I’ve noticed a lot of the darker self tanner have that affect on my skin.

OK For Men?

No, I think men will be upset with how streaky this mousse gets.

The color isn’t even, and it leaves you looking weird.

Plus this one is super expensive to ship to the US!

Price

This one is expensive at $6.82 per ounce.  It gets even more expensive when you add in shipping costs and it become $10.56 per ounce! (They now ship for free, I’m guessing they got some complaints about the hefty shipping price. So it works out to $8.74 per ounce. That’s more than average, but not the most expensive I’ve seen.”
