Overall Opinion:

Overall, there were some things I liked about these towelettes and things I really didn’t like.

Loreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Towelettes produce a very light color, it’s more of a slight “glow” than an actual tan.

You have to apply these every day to build your color, and that becomes a hassle.

The color also fades pretty quickly if it’s not maintained.

The application is very simple and non-messy, and they also dry extremely quick.

But I just can’t get past the super light color!

I think you will have better luck with these if you use them to prolong an existing tan, rather then to give you a new tan.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

Loreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Towelettes are white towelettes that resemble baby wipes or wet wipes.

These towelettes are bigger than most, they are almost as big as a sheet of paper, which I liked.

The towelettes are presoaked in self tanner and they feel very soft and lightweight.

Application

Application is a breeze!

I loved applying these, they were so simple.

You just rub the towelette all over your body (I used two for my entire body).

Loreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Towelettes are bigger than most towelettes, but I still required two to cover my entire body.

They aren’t messy, and you don’t have to worry about product dripping all over the place.

There’s no guide, so the risk of staining anything is minimal.

The application of these is pretty straightforward and hassle free.

Drying Time

Drying time is super fast.

It took the product only a minute or two to dry on my skin.

All towelettes dry pretty fast because you aren’t applying a lotion or a gel directly to your skin.

Smell (Before Application)

These definitely had that “self tanner” smell.

I wasn’t a fan of how these smelled, they smelled like DHA mixed with drug store self tanner.

They smell a lot like the Loreal Sublime Bronze Gel, which also isn’t my favorite smell.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

The smell faded a little bit, but the next day I could still smell the gross DHA smell on my skin.

Color Produced

You are supposed to apply these until you reach your desired shade of tan.

After my first use, the color was extremely light.

After a few more nights of using them, I still didn’t get very dark.

Overall, I’d say these gave me more of a “glow” than an actual tan.

The color was way too light for my liking, I was hoping to get a lot darker.

These would be better for prolonging or maintaining an existing tan.

The directions say to apply daily until you reach your desired color, and then use them 1-2 times a week.

That’s a lot of work for a very light “glow”.

Too much work for not enough results if you ask me!

How Long It Lasts

These don’t last very long.

After about 2 days I didn’t feel like I had any tan or glow left.

This is another gradual tanner that you’ll have to apply daily to maintain any color at all.

OK For Men?

No, men probably won’t like these.

I don’t run into very many men that are just looking to get a slight “glow” to their skin.

Price

These work out to $1.83 per towelette.

That’s pretty cheap, even though you will have to use 2 towelettes per application.

The whole box is $10.99, but a box will only last you around 3 days, and you need to apply this one daily.

So per week, it’ll cost you about $22.00 to maintain your tan, which actually isn’t cheap at all.
