Overall Opinion:

Overall, I liked most things about this product.

The thing I didn’t like was how long it took to dry.  It took about 45 minutes, which is longer than I like to wait.

When I went to bed my legs still felt wet and sticky and I hate that feeling.

The thing I loved most about this product is the color it produced.

I got a very smooth medium to dark tan from this one, and it was very natural looking.

The Kiehl’s Sun free Self Tanning Formula lasts about 5 days, which is longer than most products I’ve tried.

I think this would be a great product for men to try due to the non messy application and even color it produces.

Look and Feel

Kiehl’s Sun Free Self Tanning Formula comes out as a white, thick lotion.

There is no guide in this product, so it looks like your normal body lotion.

Application

This lotion is very easy to apply, it goes on smooth and there is no guide so you don’t have to worry about making a mess.

It is pretty thick, so it doesn’t run down your legs or drip on to the floor.

It takes the product about half a minute to completely blend into your skin.

Drying Time

This self tanner takes longer than average to dry, it took about 45 minutes total.

I think its thick consistency is why it takes so long to dry, when I went to bed I could still feel the product a little wet on my legs.

I wish it would’ve dried a little quicker, but lotions tend to take longer to dry than sprays.

Smell (Before Application)

This lotion has absolutely no smell, which I actually liked.

The odd thing about this product was that there was no  perfume or fruity smell, but there was also no hint of DHA at all.

I kept smelling the product to see if I could catch a whiff of anything, but it was just not there.

Like I said, I liked the lack of scent, I’ve tried way too many products that reek of DHA so this was a breath of fresh air.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

I still couldn’t smell ANYTHING the day after I applied this tanner.

It very rare you find a sunless tanner that has no smell during application or the next day, I liked it!

Color Produced

I really loved the color the Kiehl’s Sun Free Self Tanning Formula produced.

The next day I woke up I was deeply bronzed and the color was so smooth.

The color was a medium to dark shade, with no streaks or splotchy areas.

This tan looked completely natural and didn’t appear orange at all.

To put it simply…the color this tanner produces is awesome!

How Long It Lasts

The other thing I loved about this product is how long it lasted.

It lasted about 5 days which is a little longer than average.

OK For Men?

I think this would be the perfect product for men to try.

There are many things men will like about this product such as: there is no messy guide, the application is easy, the color is great and it lasts longer than average.
