Overall Opinion:

I gave Jergens BB Body Skin Perfecting Cream 2 out of 5 stars.

I wasn’t sure if this is an actual self tanner, but it does have DHA in it, so it should give some color. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience.

I applied this one 5 days in a row, and was maybe half a shade darker. I literally had no tan at all! I was disappointed I wasted a lot of time for no tan.

It works well as a moisturizer, and my skin felt really good while using it, but it didn’t look any different.

It smells nice, but a bit overwhelming.

I’d say Jergens BB Body Skin Perfecting Cream would be better used as a tan extender or a daily moisturizer….not a self tanner.

Overall, I was pretty let down by this “self tanner”.

Look and Feel

Jergens BB Body Skin Perfecting Cream is a light pink colored cream.

The cream is very thick and has a very slight shimmer to it.

Application

Application is hassle free.

You don’t have to wear a glove while applying this one as there’s not a dark guide and you don’t really need to worry about it staining your palms.

It goes on like your daily moisturizer does. It’s thick, so it takes a few seconds to blend in.

Drying Time

This one was pretty average as far as drying time goes.

It took about 25 minutes to completely dry.

I didn’t feel really sticky while I waited for it to dry, but I could feel it on my skin.

Smell (Before Application)

I couldn’t smell any DHA while applying this one, I think because there’s so little DHA in this product.

The smell is good, but it smells a little old ladyish to me.

It’s very perfumey and a bit floral smelling.

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

The next day I still couldn’t smell and DHA, which was nice.

I could very faintly smell perfume, but it wasn’t too strong.

Color Produced

This one barely produced any color at all.

After using it for 5 days, I was half a shade darker.

I don’t think this one has much DHA in it at all…maybe only 1%.

This one seems like it’d make a better tan extender or moisturizer than self tanner.

And in their defense, I don’t think it’s supposed to be a self tanner. It claims to help the appearance of your skin and even your skin tone, none of which it really did.

This one was SO light, and not worth the hassle of applying it daily.

How Long It Lasts

This one only lasted about a day.

The color was so light; it faded away after not using the product for one day.

It didn’t get splotchy or patchy while it faded.

OK For Men?

No, I think this product is definitely geared towards women.

It has a slight shimmer to it, and the product itself is even pink.

It doesn’t work well as far as self tanning goes.
