Overall Opinion:

After testing Feel Glowing Self Tanning Mousse I gave it 2.75 out of 5 stars, so it was just slightly better than average.

I wanted to like this product, as I like the company and idea…. they even sent me free flash tattoos!

This product comes with a mitt, which is nice, but I kind of expect that if I’m paying $46 for a self tanner.  That’s really expensive.

The product was easy to apply, even though the texture of the mousse is a bit uneven.

My tan was pretty good, although just a tad bit orange for my liking.  I had a medium shade, I wish it was just more brown and bronze-y.

It lasted a good 6 days, which I was very impressed with.

I think those of you with very pale skin will find this one too orange, but it will definitely work for the darker skin tones out there.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

This is a mousse, with a kind of uneven texture.  Some pups come out watery and some come out foamy, it’s weird.

It has a medium to dark brown guide in it, so you can see where you’re applying it to your skin.

Application

Feel Glowing Self Tanning Mousse comes with an application mitt, which helps immensely when applying it.

I think it’s virtually impossible to apply mousses without a mitt because the product melts in your hands and drips all over.

The product is pretty easy to blend into the skin, and I had no problems with application (besides the uneven texture of the product).  It wasn’t as fluffy as some mousses out there, so it didn’t hold its shape as well.

The product has somewhat of a tie-dye look to it, so the guide was more concentrated in certain parts than in others.

Drying Time

This mousse took a long time to dry, and I felt extremely sticky while I waited.

It took longer than your average self tanner, it took over an hour to dry.  I felt so yucky while it was drying.

Even after it dried I could still feel a little of the product on my skin.

Smell (Before Application)

This one just smells very strong of floral scent.  It’s a bit too perfumey (old lady smelling) in my opinion.

It does have a little bit of a fresh scent, but mostly I just smelled floral perfume (which didn’t smell good).

Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)

I smelled like an elderly lady when I woke up the next morning (no offense).  And I could also smell DHA, yuck.

Color Produced

I was pretty happy with my tan, although I wish it was darker and a little more brown.

I had a medium shade tan, it was overall pretty good but it did have a little bit of an orange hue to it.

I wish it was about 1-2 shades darker and more natural.  There were also a few spots on my legs where the tanner had streaked.

For those of you with very pale skin, I think it will turn out to be too orange for you.

How Long It Lasts

My tan lasted about 6 days, which is actually very good.  I was pleased with how long this one lasted.

OK For Men?

No, I think there are better colors out there for cheaper.

Price

Feel Glowing Self Tanning Mousse is $46.00 per bottle, which is very expensive.  It’s almost 50 bucks!
