Overall Opinion:
Endlessly Beautiful Sunless Tanning Lotion got 1.75 out of 5 stars from us.
We were really let down by the results of this self tanner. After applying and leaving it on over night, I hardly had any tan at all. I would’ve forgotten I applied self tanner, if it weren’t for the gross DHA smell that stuck around until morning. I barely even had a light tan; I woke up looking pasty white.
This self tanner smells okay when you apply it… it smells like tropical scent with a little DHA. But by the next morning, I could smell much more DHA, and only a smidgeon of tropical; it wasn’t a pleasant smell.
The drying time also kinda sucked… it took about 40 minutes to completely dry.
The only thing I liked about this self tanner is it was pretty easy and not messy to apply.
But overall, I don’t think this is a very good self tanner so I gave it 1.75 out of 5 stars.
Detailed Opinion:
Look and Feel
This is a very thick, white lotion. It resembles sunscreen and has a very heavy texture. It’s one of the thicker self tanners out there.
Application
I didn’t even need to use a tanning mitt while applying this self tanner because it comes out white.
So I applied it with my hands, and it was pretty easy. The product took a little while (about 5-6 minutes) to blend into my skin, and it was white on my skin until it did.
But other than that, application was very easy and I didn’t need to worry about any brown mess or stains.
You do need to be extra careful where you apply this one as it’s easy to miss spots due to the lack of guide.
Drying Time
Endlessly Beautiful Sunless Tanning Lotion dried in 30-40 minutes.
That’s longer than I would’ve liked, but at least I was able to put my clothing on in the meantime because there’s no guide to stain them. I also felt very sticky while I waited for this one to dry.
Smell (Before Application)
This one smells okay.
It smells like a tropical scent mixed with DHA.
The scent also resembles sunscreen. I didn’t mind the smell, but it wasn’t my absolute favorite.
Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)
The smell became grosser as the color developed. By morning, it smelled a lot more like DHA than any tropical scent.
I actually had a slight headache due to the strong DHA smell.
Color Produced
I was very disappointed with my tan after I showered the next morning.
My tan was SO light; I was maybe one shade lighter. I honestly almost forgot I self tanned (if it weren’t for the gross DHA smell).
I think even those of you with the palest skin will be let down by how light this one is.
I didn’t look sun kissed, brown, or tan at all.
I didn’t have any streaks or unevenness to my tan, but that’s probably because my tan hardly existed at all.
How Long It Lasts
My tan maybe lasted a day. By my next shower, I think my tan was completely gone, what the heck!
At least I didn’t need to worry about it fading unevenly, lol.
OK For Men?
Nope. I don’t think men, or anyone, will like the results of this self tanner.
Price
Endlessly Beautiful Sunless Tanning Lotion is $24.99 per bottle, which isn’t that bad. But I definitely won’t be paying that again for this product.
