Overall Opinion:
I gave Envy U Summer Envy Tanning Mousse Medium 2.25 out of 5 stars. It wasn’t as good as your average self tanner.
This is supposed to be a mousse, but really it’s a liquid. The product is so watery which make it difficult to apply.
The drying time stinks, it took 40 minutes to dry and I felt really sticky while I waited.
I got a dark tan from it, which I was pleased with. However, my tan had a slight orange hue to it which I know will bother some people out there.
So overall, there wasn’t too much I liked about this “mousse’, and I gave it 2.25 out of 5 stars.
Detailed Opinion:
Look and Feel
This is a “mousse”, but it really comes out as a liquid. There is no foaminess to this product at all, which made it very hard to use.
It comes out watery and very runny. Evny U Summer Envy Tanning Mousse Medium is very dark brown in color due to the color guide.
Application
This mousse is so messy to apply due to its runny texture.
The product was running off of my tanning mitt and onto the ground. And the product that didn’t was literally absorbed into the mitt within a few seconds, it didn’t even give me a chance to apply it.
I don’t know how they say this is a mousse, when it is really a liquid. This is one of the most watery foams I’ve seen.
Definitely use a tanning mitt with this one, or it’ll be even messier.
Drying Time
Envy U Summer Envy Tanning Mousse Medium took about 40 minutes to completely dry, and I felt really sticky while I waited.
Smell (Before Application)
Yuck, this one smells really bad. All I could smell was DHA.
Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)
The smell got worse as time went on. The next few hours I could really smell the stench on my skin.
By the next morning, my skin smelled burned and dead. It didn’t smell good at all.
Color Produced
I tried the “medium shade in this product”, and it says to leave it on for 8 hours if you’d like a dark tan. You can leave it on for shorter, if you aren’t looking to be as dark.
I left in on overnight, and by the next morning I did have a dark tan. I liked how dark my tan was, and the color was pretty good (although maybe a tad bit orange).
How Long It Lasts
This one lasted about 4-5 days, and over that time period it became so splotchy.
I couldn’t believe had badly this one faded.
OK For Men?
The color produced is the only thing I liked about Envy U Summer Envy Tanning Mousse Medium.
And I think you can get just as good of a tan from other products that don’t have all the issues this one has.
So no, I don’t think men will like it.
Price
Envy U Summer Envy Tanning Mousse Medium is $7.40 per ounce which is on the more expensive side.
